A BIG THANK YOU to ALL who contributed during the March FoodShare Drive!!
We received a total of:
14,395 pounds of food donated plus $25, 835.64 in cash donations!!
As we have been saying--the need is great! We continue to see greater numbers of people seeking food assistance each month so we're grateful for your support to help ensure that we have good selections of food available for those needing assistance.
In 2025, we saw our numbers of individuals using our Food Shelf increase by 20% over 2024! Our Waseca organizations, churches, groups, schools, and individuals have generously risen to the challenge of collecting both food and monetary donations to help our Food Shelf in the past. Our community partners, too numerous to mention, stepped up to help us with our vision: To be a beacon of hope and dignity in our community by empowering individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency by providing food, resources and support. Thank you to those community partners who always are there to help us accomplish this vision!

The Waseca Scouts had their annual Scouting for Food day on Saturday, March 21st. They accepted non-perishable food or monetary donations to help our local Food Shelf. Their 2026 impressive totals were 2,261 pounds of food along with $1276 in contributions!! Way to go, Scouts! THANK YOU for helping us help others!!!
